Statement of Faith

We believe the Bible is the Word of God, given by inspiration of God, inerrant, authoritative, and all sufficient, being the supreme and final word in all matters of faith and personal behavior. II Timothy 3:16 II Peter 1:21

We believe in One God, eternally existing in three Persons, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit equal in power and glory. Isaiah 48:16 Matthew 28:19 John 15:26

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, being without sin was very God yet truly man. Matthew 1:18 Isaiah 7:14 II Corinthians 5:21 I Timothy 2:5

We believe that the Lord Jesus died, as a substitutionary sacrifice for mankind’s sins and that by trusting Him we are born again into the family of God. Isaiah 53:4-6 I Peter 2:24 John 1:12,13

We believe that salvation is of God, through God and to God and therefore, eternally secure for those who have been born from above into His family. Ephesians 2:4-9 John 5:24 John 6:39,40

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of Christ, ascended up to heaven where He is now enthroned at His Father’s right hand and engaged for us there as our Advocate and High Priest. I Corinthians 15:3-5 Acts 1:9-11 Hebrews 8:1 I John 2:1

We believe that the second coming of Jesus Christ will be personal and in fact may be at any time. I Thessalonians 1:9,10 4:16,17 5:2,3

We believe in the personality of the Holy Spirit of God, the third person of the Trinity, that He convicts of sin, quickens into life, and regenerates the sinner, making him a child of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Acts 5: 3,4 John 16:8 John 3: 3,5

We believe in the creation of the universe and the fall of man as recorded in Genesis. Genesis 1:1 to 3:24

We believe that all believers are constituted by God as a holy priesthood and as such are privileged to approach Him in worship. I Peter 2:9 Ephesians 2:18

We believe that all believers in the Lord Jesus Christ are members of the church, the body of Christ. Romans 12: 4,5 Colossians 1:24

We believe that God, for the edification and perpetuation of the church, has distributed spiritual gifts to men. Romans 12: 6-8 I Corinthians 12: 4-30 Ephesians 4: 11,12

We believe the Lord Jesus gave His people two ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Matthew 28:19 I Corinthians 11: 23-29

We believe that the marriage relationship of a man and woman is holy, ordained by God for His glory, our comfort, and the perpetuation of the human family. Genesis 1:27 Genesis 2:24

We believe Satan is a real, active and malicious being, the arch-enemy of God and man. Revelation 12: 9,10

We believe in the resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous, the righteous to eternal reward and the unrighteous to eternal punishment. John 5:28,29
